ABOUT
Christine Glunz Tracy is a communications and public affairs strategist with over 20 years of experience advising major corporations, government entities, nonprofits, elected officials, and trade associations on their communications approaches to critical public policy issues including health care, public health, early childhood education, energy, and the environment.
Through Glunz Strategies, Christine specializes in providing clients with a range of services, including communications strategy and message development, campaign management, cause-marketing, crisis communications preparation, media training, brand management and the deployment of tactics that move the needle on public policy issues.
Prior to launching Glunz Strategies, Christine was the Executive Director of Public Affairs at CVS Health, where she led the public affairs strategy for the largest health services company in the country. She oversaw issue campaigns and managed brand reputation advertising directed at public policymakers, while also developing communications approaches to complex policy areas and emerging issues facing the Fortune 4 company. She served in this role during the successful acquisition of Aetna and the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the youngest of ten kids and the daughter of small business owners, Christine is known for her strong work ethic, willingness to tackle challenging situations and commitment to advancing social causes. She is also a shareholder in Glunz Family Winery and Cellars and proud sister of the talented winemakers.
Before joining CVS Health, Christine was a Senior Vice President at GMMB where she provided counsel to corporate, political, non-profit and trade association clients including the U.S. Green Building Council, the American Dental Association, Kaiser Permanente, Families USA, and L'Oréal USA, among others. She spent most of her early career in public service, having worked in the White House twice for Presidents Obama and Clinton, on Capitol Hill, in state government, and on several high-profile U.S. political campaigns including serving as a debate coach for U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth. Under President Obama, Christine was the Deputy Chief of Staff at the White House Council on Environmental Quality where she led external affairs efforts around the President’s environmental agenda.
